Our client is seeking a dynamic and experienced Lead Business Analyst to join their growing team in **Uyo, Akwa Ibom, NG**. This is a critical role responsible for bridging the gap between business needs and technology solutions, ensuring that projects align with strategic objectives and deliver maximum value. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills, with a proven ability to manage complex projects and guide junior analysts. You will work closely with stakeholders across various departments, including IT, product management, and operations, to define requirements, facilitate process improvements, and drive successful project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities: Lead the elicitation, documentation, and validation of business requirements for various projects, utilizing a range of techniques such as interviews, workshops, and surveys. Analyze and model business processes, identifying areas for improvement and recommending solutions. Develop comprehensive functional and non-functional specifications, use cases, and user stories. Facilitate effective communication and collaboration between business stakeholders and technical teams throughout the project lifecycle. Oversee the creation of system design documents, ensuring alignment with business requirements. Manage the backlog of requirements and priorities, working closely with project managers and development teams. Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) and support the implementation of new systems and processes. Mentor and guide junior business analysts, providing training and oversight. Contribute to the development and refinement of business analysis standards and best practices. Identify risks and issues related to requirements and propose mitigation strategies. Prepare and deliver presentations on project status, findings, and recommendations to stakeholders at all levels. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus. Minimum of 6 years of experience in business analysis, with a proven track record of leading complex projects. Demonstrated expertise in requirements gathering, process modeling (e.g., BPMN), and data analysis. Strong understanding of SDLC methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical audiences. Proficiency in business analysis tools such as JIRA, Confluence, or similar. Experience with data visualization tools and techniques is advantageous. Strong leadership and mentoring abilities. Exceptional problem-solving and critical thinking skills. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment and manage multiple priorities.
