About Our Client

We are recruiting for our client, a public institution, a Lead Cloud Engineer (Azure) (M/F).

Job Description

You will directly manage the availability, performance, and security of Azure Cloud environments and network infrastructure. You will dedicate a significant portion of your activity to high-level engineering (Level 3), intervening in operational maintenance (Run) and ambitious transformation projects (Build) with a 50/50 balance. You will define and maintain Cloud architecture standards, leveraging reference frameworks such as Landing Zones and the Cloud Adoption Framework (CAF).

You will implement systematic deployment automation using Terraform, ARM templates, and CI/CD pipeline management under Azure DevOps and GitHub. You will ensure system reliability and compliance by integrating DevSecOps principles, Identity and Access Management (IAM), and Zero Trust strategies. You will exercise in-depth expertise on hybrid environments (Windows Server, VMware, Hyper-V) and manage platform observability (Azure Monitor, PRTG). Finally, you will deploy rigorous FinOps governance to optimize Cloud consumption costs.

In parallel to this technical foundation, you will be the technical referent for a team of five Cloud/SysOps engineers. You will act as a mentor, clarifying roles and delegating tasks according to expertise, while participating in project planning and budget structuring for the domain.

This position is for a permanent contract (employee) only. My remuneration is between €58K and €63K fixed depending on skills and experience.

Profile

With a higher education in IT (Engineer or equivalent), you have at least 5 years of confirmed experience in Cloud or Systems Engineer roles. You hold the Azure Administrator (AZ-104) certification. You have perfect mastery of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) and a solid DevOps culture applied to critical infrastructures. Your expertise includes scripting (PowerShell, Bash) and a strong foundation in networks and security.

You demonstrate analytical skills to navigate heterogeneous technical environments.
