Lead Cloud Solutions Architect - Remote

Our client is searching for an accomplished and visionary Lead Cloud Solutions Architect to spearhead the design and implementation of cutting-edge cloud infrastructure solutions. This is a critical, fully remote role, empowering you to shape our client's technological future from your home office. You will be instrumental in defining the architectural roadmap for our cloud environments, ensuring scalability, security, and cost-efficiency. Responsibilities include leading the development of robust cloud strategies, overseeing the migration of existing systems to the cloud, and designing resilient, high-availability solutions. You will collaborate closely with engineering, development, and operations teams to translate business requirements into technical designs. This role demands deep expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), containerization technologies, infrastructure-as-code, and CI/CD pipelines. Responsibilities: Develop and maintain a comprehensive cloud architecture roadmap aligned with business objectives. Design, implement, and manage scalable, secure, and highly available cloud solutions across various platforms. Lead the architecture for cloud migrations, ensuring minimal disruption and optimal performance. Define and enforce cloud security policies, best practices, and compliance requirements. Evaluate and recommend new cloud technologies and services to enhance existing infrastructure. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements and deliver robust solutions. Provide technical leadership and mentorship to cloud engineering and DevOps teams. Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation. Optimize cloud spending and resource utilization for cost-efficiency. Troubleshoot and resolve complex cloud infrastructure issues. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master's degree preferred. 10+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, with at least 5 years focused on cloud architecture and design. In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with major cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP). Expertise in containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes). Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (Terraform, Ansible, etc.). Strong understanding of networking, security, and database concepts in a cloud environment. Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools. Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Relevant cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional, Azure Solutions Architect Expert) are highly desirable.
