We are seeking a Lead Control Systems Engineer to drive the design, implementation, and optimization of advanced Emerson DeltaV control systems. In this role, you will collaborate with clients and cross-functional teams to develop high-performance automation solutions that enhance efficiency, product quality, and operational success. From defining functional requirements to overseeing commissioning and qualification, you’ll play a pivotal role in delivering industry-leading control systems.
What You’ll Do
- Design & Develop – Architect and configure distributed control systems (DCS), ensuring seamless integration with existing infrastructure.
- Project Execution – Lead system implementation from design to commissioning, ensuring compliance with GMP standards and industry best practices.
- Technical Leadership – Guide a team of engineers and technicians, providing mentorship and ensuring high-quality project execution.
- Process Optimization – Enhance control system performance, troubleshoot issues, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Documentation & Compliance – Develop Life Cycle documentation, redline P&ID diagrams, and create electrical panel layouts and wiring diagrams.
- Client Engagement – Collaborate with customers to understand requirements, provide solutions, and support business development efforts.
What You’ll Bring
- 2-8 years of experience in automation and control systems engineering.
- Expertise in Emerson DeltaV and Microsoft Windows-based control platforms.
- Deep understanding of control system architecture, design, and programming.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and optimize complex automation systems.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills with a passion for mentoring others.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Computer, or Chemical Engineering (or a related field).
- Hands-on experience with current Emerson DeltaV technology.
- Authorization to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship.
