Is a leading not-for-profit organization dedicated to increasing access to justice across Ontario.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and build a new corporate pro bono program focused on engaging corporate and commercial lawyers to respond legal needs.
• Develop and execute strategies to recruit, engage, and retain volunteer lawyers and law firms.
• Create structured, high-impact volunteer opportunities (e.g. clinics, advisory services, short-form engagements).
• Act as a primary ambassador for the organization within the corporate legal law community.
• Support volunteer engagement, including triage of legal needs and guidance on appropriate legal matters.
• Track impact, contribute to reporting, and support continuous program improvement.

Qualifications

• LL.B or J.D. and/or called to the Ontario bar.
• 2-3 years of experience in corporate law or relevant legal practice.
• Strong understanding of the corporate legal environment and law firm dynamics.
• Demonstrated ability in business development, relationship management, or stakeholder engagement.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and build a program from the ground up.
• Proficient with the MS Office suite and comfort with learning new technology.
