Lead Cyber Threat Engineer

Overview:

As a Lead Cyber Risk Engineer, you'll assess and validate security risks across applications, cloud platforms, and enterprise infrastructure through advanced security testing and threat simulation activities. You'll work closely with security and engineering teams to strengthen detection and response capabilities while developing scalable tooling and automation to enhance overall cyber resilience.

What You'll do:

• Perform advanced security assessments across applications, cloud environments, and enterprise systems
• Lead threat simulation and security validation activities to identify control weaknesses
• Partner with security operations and engineering teams to strengthen monitoring and incident response capabilities
• Develop automated security testing solutions, deliver risk-based findings, and support junior team development

What I need from You:

• 4 to 6 years' experience in cyber security testing, threat assessment, or adversary simulation environments
• Strong scripting and automation skills using Python, Go, or similar technologies
• Solid understanding of cloud and application security across AWS/Azure, including modern attack techniques
• Experience with security testing frameworks, threat modelling methodologies, and strong analytical communication skills; certifications or security research experience beneficial
