About
Business group : Employee Access & Collaboration Technology
Project : SharePoint and Shared Drive Access Management and Recertification
Role : Data Architecture & Governance Foundation
The Lead Data Architect / Risk Intelligence Lead is responsible for establishing and leading the data architecture, data governance structures, and risk intelligence foundations required to support the Shared Drives Access Management (SDAM) program across SharePoint Online (SPO) and NetApp based storage platforms.
This role operates as a senior, hands on data architecture and governance lead, accountable for defining system and data requirements, designing and implementing data governance and classification structures, and ensuring data architectures comply with enterprise standards, security controls, and regulatory expectations. The role ensures SDAM data solutions integrate effectively with related systems and platforms and that the operating environment remains compliant and audit ready.
In addition to architecture and design responsibilities, the role is responsible for analyzing data governance, classification, and access related risks, identifying control gaps and remediation opportunities, and driving remediation activities to closure. The Lead Data Architect / Risk Intelligence Lead either performs hands on technical remediation where appropriate or works in close partnership with platform teams (including SharePoint content teams, Microsoft Purview teams, NetApp platform teams, and engineering partners) to implement corrective actions.
The role provides senior technical leadership and advisory support within the SDAM program but does not function as the Program Manager or delivery owner. Instead, it is accountable for the quality, integrity, and regulatory defensibility of data architecture, governance, and risk intelligence capabilities supporting SDAM outcomes.
