Profile / Mission
Within our E-commerce entity, which operates on platforms with very high traffic volumes, we are looking for a Lead Developer focused on:
- The quality of our delivery
- A technical reference posture
- Managing a squad of 4 developers
Roles:
- Code, contribute to delivery on a daily basis (priority n°1)
- Manage the development team: technical animation, skill development, escalation point, squad atmosphere
- Validate backlog and user stories transmitted by the architect, and transform them into technical user stories usable by the team
- Validate ADRs with the client
- Estimate and cost user stories with the team, secure sprint cadence
- Perform code reviews and maintain quality standards (standards, tests, observability)
- Lead cross-functional technical topics: technical debt, refactoring, tooling choices
- Challenge technical choices on the client side when necessary, without being confrontational
Mandatory Stack:
- TypeScript
- NestJS
- Node.js
Plus:
- React
- Shopify experience (Admin API, webhooks, embedded app)
- E-commerce / replatforming context
Required Skills or to Acquire:
- Solid experience in designing and developing APIs and middlewares (data synchronization, observability, performance, security)
- Proven experience managing a team of 3 to 5 developers in an agile environment
- Autonomy, rigor, ability to justify choices and document them
- Comfortable challenging a tech client without being confrontational
