What You'll Do

• Conceptualization and implementation of highly available backend services based on Kotlin/Spring Boot and active co-design of the system architecture
• Ensuring smooth operation through one-click deployments, dry runs, and technical support for rollouts
• Central point of contact for stakeholders, POs, and adjacent teams (e.g., Analytics) for clarification of technical and functional questions
• Analysis of complex business processes and definition and refinement of user stories in close coordination with the business
• Proactive error analysis and resolution in production and Q environments
• You live the "You build it, you run it" approach and optimize automated CI/CD pipelines and cloud infrastructures

What You Bring

• Completed degree in Computer Science or comparable qualification
• Several years of experience in development with Kotlin (JVM), focusing on quality & security (e.g., JUnit, SonarQube, OWASP)
• Very good knowledge of Spring Boot, persistence technologies (JPA/Hibernate, Flyway) and microservices and event-driven architectures (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ)
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud platforms
• Sound know-how in design patterns, DDD, agile software development (Scrum/Kanban), and confident stakeholder management
• Hands-on mentality, sense of responsibility for production operation; full-stack and initial AI experience are advantageous
• Very good German and good English skills
