Lead DevOps Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design and implement cloud infrastructure, including selecting appropriate cloud services (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS), networking, storage, and compute resources.
• Ensure cloud environments are secure and compliant with industry standards and regulations by implementing security controls, access management, and encryption.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to cloud infrastructure and applications.
• Author automated deployments using Terraform.
• Automate provision/orchestration of AWS resources.
• Monitor, report, and optimize system performance.
• Manage Docker container deployment and orchestration, including AWS EKS.
• Bootstrap and automate the build of complete Kubernetes environments.
• Manage multiple AWS environments and the AWS ecosystem.

Qualifications

• 13+ years’ experience with distributed applications at scale in public cloud (AWS), or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience in public cloud (AWS) in building services using cloud native technologies including Kubernetes, Docker, serverless.
• Experience with containers (Docker, EKS) and serverless (Lambda).
• Experience in implementing various AWS solutions like Data Sync, Batch Job, EMR.
• Experience with automated build in Jenkins or similar CI tools.
• Python, shell, and bash experience required.
• Must have Gitlab experience.
