Lead DevOps Engineer

Our client, a rapidly growing tech startup, is looking for an experienced Lead DevOps Engineer to spearhead their cloud infrastructure and deployment processes. This role offers a hybrid work model, blending remote flexibility with essential in-office collaboration. The Lead DevOps Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining robust, scalable, and secure cloud infrastructure. You will focus on automating deployment pipelines, managing infrastructure as code, and ensuring the reliability and performance of our client's applications. Key responsibilities include developing and managing CI/CD pipelines, implementing monitoring and alerting systems, optimizing cloud resource utilization, and ensuring compliance with security best practices. You will also work closely with development and operations teams to troubleshoot issues, improve system stability, and drive operational excellence. A strong understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes), and scripting languages (Python, Bash) is essential. Experience with infrastructure as code tools (Terraform, Ansible) and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI) is also crucial. The ideal candidate will possess excellent problem-solving skills, strong communication abilities, and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving potential issues. You should be comfortable leading technical discussions and mentoring junior team members. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, along with a proven track record in DevOps roles, is required.
