Salary Range: $180K-$220K base salary (commensurate with experience)

This position plays a pivotal role in leading complex technical projects and programs for mission-critical facilities. It combines technical leadership, mentorship, and client engagement to deliver world-class engineering solutions. The Engineering Leader ensures best practices across multiple disciplines, manages technical risk, and guides teams toward successful project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead complex technical discussions, projects, and programs across engineering disciplines.
  • Validate technical solutions and ensure compliance with best practices.
  • Provide oversight, direction, and technical expertise to engineering teams.
  • Mentor and develop upcoming engineers and technical experts.
  • Prepare client-specific solutions and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Drive development and maintenance of project artifacts for successful delivery.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency.
  • Review technical details with project leadership and manage integration of data from multiple systems.
  • Ensure safety regulations are met and issues resolved promptly.
  • Maintain positive, assertive relationships with project engineers to achieve milestones.

Qualifications

Education:

  • BS in Electrical Engineering (ABET preferred) with 7+ years of engineering experience and construction exposure, OR
  • MS in Electrical Engineering with 5+ years of experience.

Preferred Certifications:

  • FE/EIT
  • DBIA
  • LEED
  • NICET

Required Skills

  • Strong technical knowledge in one or more engineering disciplines.
  • Ability to lead and participate in technical discussions and risk management.
  • Experience with cost estimation, budgeting, and finance principles.
  • Skilled in design-build processes and developing new technologies or services.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills for client and team engagement.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD, Visio, SharePoint, and familiarity with project tools.
