A well-funded, early-stage startup is building a next-generation consumer wearable that pushes the boundaries of how humans interact with technology.
With early prototypes already in development and strong investor backing in place, the team is now entering a critical phase — and looking for a senior embedded systems architect to take ownership of the core system design.
The Opportunity
This is a high-impact, zero-to-one role where you’ll define the embedded architecture from the ground up.
You’ll work closely with the founding team to design scalable systems that can evolve across multiple device types and future product iterations.
What They’re Looking For
- 5+ years in embedded systems architecture (ideally consumer electronics or wearables)
- Strong understanding of processor and system-level design
- Background in Electrical Engineering or similar, Hardware familiarity is beneficial
- Comfortable making high-level design decisions, not just implementation
- Experience at the hardware–software boundary
Candidates with a strong electronics/system design mindset tend to excel
Compensation & Equity
- Competitive salary of $165,000+ (flexible based on experience)
