Lead Embedded Systems Engineer

We are looking for a visionary Lead Embedded Systems Engineer to spearhead our innovative projects. This is a 100% remote position, allowing you to contribute your expertise from anywhere. You will lead the design, development, and implementation of cutting-edge embedded systems for a variety of applications. Your responsibilities will include defining system architecture, selecting appropriate hardware and software components, and developing firmware and drivers. You will guide a team of talented engineers, providing technical leadership, mentorship, and ensuring adherence to best practices. This role requires a deep understanding of microcontroller architectures, real-time operating systems (RTOS), and various communication protocols (e.g., SPI, I2C, UART, CAN). You will be involved in the full product development lifecycle, from concept to production, including rigorous testing and debugging. Proficiency in C/C++ programming for embedded systems is essential, along with experience in using development tools, emulators, and logic analyzers. Experience with hardware description languages (HDL) for FPGAs and ASICs is a plus. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field, coupled with significant hands-on experience. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, along with excellent leadership and communication abilities, are paramount.
