Lead Engineer with demonstrable experience in automation projects, supporting business units in their process automation strategy.

Responsibilities

• Participation in pre-sales phases and the evolution of the RPA/IDP/Smart Auto offering for a major banking institution.
• Writing technical specifications for AI or automation.
• Carrying out pilot projects for automation.
• Participation in the development of RPA/IDP/Smart Automation Centers of Excellence.
• Considering IT constraints in process automation.
• Mentoring developers on automation projects.
• Code reviews to ensure adherence to development best practices on automation projects.
• The beneficiary expresses a need for support to assist the team in robot development and maintenance activities, and to provide expertise on Robotic Process Automation (RPA) tools.
• Main responsibilities:
  • Performing code reviews in compliance with RPA development best practices.
  • Monitoring the sharing of technical and functional knowledge and actively participating in RPA communities.
  • Mastery and application of the entire test lifecycle (preparation, execution, anomaly tracking, validation).
  • Maintenance and updating of technical and functional documentation.
  • Operational monitoring of production: morning checks, dashboarding, and monitoring.
  • Development and maintenance of Blue Prism scripts and any scripts related to RPA tools.
  • Testing different product versions and contributing to technical acceptance phases.
  • Development, optimization, and maintenance of reusable common objects.
  • Contribution to the upskilling of local Centers of Excellence (CoE).
  • Ability to act as a single point of contact (SPOC) between local CoEs and RPA solution publishers.
  • Good knowledge of the architecture of the solutions used.
  • Ability to be the primary contact between client teams and production, providing product expertise for support and incident resolution.

Profile

Tools & Environment

• RPA: Blue Prism (essential mastery); UiPath (knowledge appreciated)
• Development / Scripting: Very good foundations in C#, VB.Net, Python, and PowerShell
• Architecture: Good knowledge of application architecture principles and production environments
