Lead Engineer Civil/Structural (m/f/d)

About the Role

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Lead Engineer Civil/Structural (m/f/d) for our Biopharma and Life Science Unit to join us at the earliest possible date at one of our locations: Hamburg, Leverkusen, Bad Homburg, Stuttgart, Ulm, Nuremberg, Munich or Penzberg.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for leading all Civil and Structural engineering aspects throughout the project lifecycle
• Design, project planning, calculation and installation execution planning of Civil and Structural work
• Preparation of detailed execution documents (e.g. drawings, functional descriptions, bill of quantities) for the procurement of installation and planning services and clarify any questions that arise during the execution phase
• Adherence to budget, quality and deadline requirements within the assigned projects
• Supporting project management in the preparation and, if necessary, updating of schedules
• Coordination of subcontractors and assurance of the highest execution quality, as well as compliance with safety, health, and environmental protection requirement
• Coordination and control of the interfaces of the individual trades

Requirements

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Structural Engineering, Building Services Engineering, Infrastructure Management or a comparable technical field of study
• Several years' experience in leading the design of Civil and Structural solutions in large scale projects
• Technical knowledge and understanding of Engineering, Design and Construction Civil and Structural works from Preliminary Design to Commissioning and Handover
• Technical knowledge and understanding of project execution processes in a fast-track environment
• Local construction knowledge
• Excellent German and English language skills
