Lead Engineer, project large rotating equipment Packages

As a Project Lead Engineer (PLE), you would start a typical day organizing tasks to support multiple concurrent projects. • You will:

Review contracts

Evaluate on-time delivery of engineering documents

Review scope and identify gaps

Organize meetings for clarification of technical issues

Mentor other Engineers

Provide reporting to your manager and other business leaders • *oriented:** • Lead a team of experts for mechanical, fluid, electrical, and control systems in project management • Serve as the main contact for project management for technical auxiliaries' scope • Collaborate with local and global Siemens Energy teams across Engineering, Project Management, Procurement, Quality, Manufacturing, and Installation • Represent auxiliaries engineering in customer communication • Lead contract technical scope and document schedule from project kickoff to customer handover • Coordinate flow-down of contract requirements to Engineering teams • Highlight execution risks to Program Management and Engineering • Manage internal engineering change requests and support external scope changes • Interface with Installation team during erection and commissioning at customer sites. • *We dont need superheroes, just super minds:** • Background in mechanical and/or electrical engineering (Bachelors degree minimum; Masters or Dipl. • Ing. • preferred) • Extensive experience in power plant project execution, especially with Gas Turbine, Steam Turbine, and/or Generator auxiliaries • Willingness to learn and acquire cross-disciplinary knowledge • Experience in prioritizing tasks and leading cross-functional teams • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and Siemens Energy tools (Fabasolt, SAP, Teamcenter, COMOSlePlan) • Strong command of German and English (written and verbal). • *About the Team** • *Gas Services division focuses on:** • Low-emission power generation • Decarbonization through modernization and digitalization • Integration of gas turbines, steam turbines, and generators • *Who is Siemens Energy** • Siemens Energy is a global energy technology company with ~100,000 employees in over 90 countries. • We: • Develop future energy systems • Drive energy transition • Provide ~1/6 of the worlds electricity • Focus on decarbonization, new technologies, and energy transformation • https: / / www.siemens-energy.com / employeeviden
