About the role
Lead Execution Engineer (EMS / Futures & FX)
Fully Remote | Miami HQ + New York
Systematic macro hedge fund trading global futures and FX. Entirely rules-based, all systems built in-house, ~20 people, scaling fast with new institutional capital.
Hiring a Lead Execution Engineer to own the EMS as the platform grows. Execution quality directly impacts PnL at this scale. This is a front-office engineering role, not pricing, risk, or reporting.
You'll own:
→ Full order lifecycle across futures and FX (built on Redline)
→ Order routing, slicing, throttling, venue-specific logic
→ Exchange connectivity, session limits, failure handling
→ Latency, slippage, and robustness optimization
→ Production stability as AUM and PM count increase
You need:
→ Proven ownership of live execution systems in production
→ Hands-on order flow in exchange-traded markets (futures and/or FX)
→ Real-time diagnosis under live market conditions
→ Comfort in a lean, senior team with high accountability
Stack: Java · Python · C++ (preferred, not required)
Redline EMS experience and deep market microstructure knowledge are strong plusses.
