Our client, a boutique film production house in Enugu, Enugu, NG, is seeking a highly talented and experienced Lead Film Editor and Post-Production Supervisor. This role is instrumental in shaping the final product of our creative projects, ensuring a seamless and high-quality post-production workflow.
Role Overview
You will be responsible for the editing of various film and video content, from conceptualization to final delivery. This includes conceptualizing narrative structure, pacing, and tone, as well as performing technical editing tasks such as assembling footage, sound design, color grading, and visual effects integration. As a supervisor, you will also manage the post-production schedule, oversee junior editors and freelancers, liaise with directors and producers, and ensure that all projects are delivered on time and within budget.
Responsibilities
- Edit various film and video content from conceptualization to final delivery
- Conceptualize narrative structure, pacing, and tone
- Perform technical editing tasks such as assembling footage, sound design, color grading, and visual effects integration
- Manage the post-production schedule
- Oversee junior editors and freelancers
- Liaise with directors and producers
- Ensure that all projects are delivered on time and within budget
Requirements
- Strong portfolio showcasing exceptional editing skills across different genres
- Proficiency with industry‑standard editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve) and post‑production tools
- Keen eye for detail, strong sense of storytelling, and deep understanding of visual aesthetics
- Previous experience in a supervisory or lead role within post‑production (highly desirable)
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to guide and inspire a creative team
- Knowledge of sound mixing, color correction principles, and basic motion graphics (beneficial)
Location
This is an on‑site position, requiring dedicated work within our studio facilities in En Enugu, Enugu, NG. You will play a critical role in bringing creative visions to life through masterful editing and efficient post‑production management.
