Join our dynamic and fast-paced Program Finance Team at Serco as a Lead Financial Analyst. This is an exciting opportunity to manage the full life-cycle of program finances in a collaborative environment. We are looking for an ambitious self-starter with strong Excel skills and a desire to deepen their expertise in program finances across various contract types.

  • This position supports the F-35 program and requires two (2) days per week at the F-35 program office.
  • This role will require the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive cost, schedule, and funding planning, along with reporting and monitoring support to Program Managers. This includes developing Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), Basis of Estimates (BOEs), and time-phased budgets/EACs and schedules.
  • Assist with accounts receivable during billing processing, ensuring all invoice documentation is accurate and complete.
  • Monitor billing statuses and promptly address unbilled issues by collaborating with Contracts, Accounting, and PMO.
  • Oversee the preparation of subcontractor and vendor accruals, ensuring compliance with GAAP/IFRS and internal policies.
  • Support monthly program and finance business processes, including participation in key meetings and program reviews.
  • Administer program control aspects in line with accounting principles, corporate policies, and government regulations.
  • Conduct finance inputs for project setup and revenue recognition following contractual requirements.
  • Act as a liaison between operations and other administrative organizations on financial matters.
  • Engage with subcontractors, vendors, and customers as needed.

Requirements

  • The ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance.
  • U.S. Citizenship is required.
  • A Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 5 years of related experience or a High School Diploma/GED with a minimum of 9 years of progressive experience.
  • Strong knowledge of business practices, government contracting regulations, and finance principles.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • A proven track record of successful collaboration and high professional standards.
  • Access to Gov't/Military Installations with the ability to obtain a CAC.
