Join our team as a Lead Financial Analyst where you will leverage your expertise in contract financial management to drive financial performance across large and complex programs. You will work closely with the Program Manager and be a key member of the program management team, playing a vital role in defining contract goals and objectives while offering valuable insights and recommendations to improve financial outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Take charge of the financial management for large contracts or multiple complex Task Deliverables (TDLs), providing cost, schedule, and funding planning, as well as comprehensive analysis and reporting support to the Program Manager.
- Drive the setup of contracts, ensuring compliance with all terms, conditions, and requirements.
- Prepare accurate Estimates at Complete (EAC) for contracts and ensure timely submission.
- Identify risks and profit improvement opportunities, collaborating with the Program Manager, Contracts, Procurement, and Finance.
- Review and evaluate all contract modifications, advising the program management team of any impacts.
- Monitor costs and manpower to ensure alignment with CLIN ceilings and budgets.
- Conduct analytical reviews of contract-level cost documentation and prepare detailed variance analyses.
- Track the financial health of subcontractors and taskings, working alongside procurement and subcontracts teams.
- Lead development of Internal Program Review (IPR) presentations for management.
- Ensure accurate and timely customer financial deliverables by preparing Contract Data Requirements (CDRL).
- Perform ad-hoc financial analyses as requested by the Project Management Office and others.
- Maintain and communicate funding status, providing detailed insights as necessary.
- Represent the Finance Team in leadership meetings, delivering critical financial insights and recommendations.
- Facilitate continuous improvement initiatives, enhancing process efficiencies and standardization.
- Support accounts receivables as needed during billing processes, ensuring timely resolutions to billing issues.
- Prepare subcontractor and vendor accruals in accordance with GAAP and company policies.
- Ensure revenue and profit are reported in compliance with EAC principles.
- Analyze profit risks and opportunities, advising management on optimal strategies.
- Uphold adherence to GAAP, Sarbanes-Oxley, FAR, and company policies related to contracts and financials.
Required Skills
- Comprehensive understanding of contract types, execution methods, and relevant regulations.
- Proven ability to foster relationships across functional teams.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite with a strong emphasis on Excel.
- Exceptional oral and written communication abilities.
- Strong data management, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent organization, time management, and multitasking abilities.
- Clearable if required based on contractual mandates.
- A minimum of 10 years' experience in project cost control or financial management.
- Sound knowledge of contract types and project control strategies.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Desired Skills
- BA/BS in Finance, Accounting, or Business is preferred.
- Experience with GSA AAS/FEDSIM contracts is an advantage.
- Familiarity with international policies and DOD allowances.
- Extensive experience with various funding activities.
US citizenship is required for work under DOD contracts.

The salary for this position ranges from $101,300 to $168,700 USD, reflecting a competitive mix of compensation and benefits, including health insurance, paid leave, and retirement options.
