The Lead Financial Analyst - Engineering (m/f/d) is a key Finance partner to the Engineering and Digital departments, providing financial oversight and driving performance transparency across the INNIO Group. This role is based in Jenbach, Tyrol, Austria.

Essential Responsibilities
- Own and ensure accuracy of Engineering/Digital financial closing, including validation of accruals, cost allocations, and capitalization logic, ensuring compliance with Group Controlling standards.
- Drive Engineering/Digital financial planning cycles, including operational reviews and close alignment with Engineering, group FP&A and other Finance controlling teams.
- Independently validate planning assumptions, distinguish most likely vs. best‑case scenarios, and proactively highlight financial risks and constraints.
- Act as an independent financial counterpart to Engineering/Digital leadership, providing fact‑based challenge and decision‑oriented recommendations.
- Partner with the Engineering and Digital department to drive financial transparency, identify cost optimization opportunities, and influence decision‑making through structured financial analysis.
- Perform financial validation of Engineering/Digital R&D programs and provide financial guidance on cost capitalization criteria.
- Support the annual funding request submission of INNIO's R&D programs to the Austrian state authorities (FFG).
- Support BI re‑design for Engineering/Digital KPIs to enable transparency, flexibility, sustainability, deeper analysis, and efficient reporting solutions.
Your Profile
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in accounting, finance, economics, or business administration.
- Several years of relevant professional experience in controlling and accounting, ideally within an industrial or technology‑driven environment.
- Strong analytic skills: able to clearly link financial results to operational performance drivers, generate alternatives and drive positive change.
- Excellent communication skills and assertiveness: experience working across multiple levels and functions; clearly communicate complex financial information.
- Strong MS‑Office skills: experience with financial systems/applications, strong Excel skills.
- Comfortable operating in a dynamic environment with recurring peak periods during closing and planning cycles.
