About
We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Lead Financial Analyst with expertise in demand planning and server rack forecasting. In this pivotal role, you will enhance financial performance by blending financial insights with supply chain operations, with a focus on rack demand planning, revenue alignment, and integrating supply and demand signals with our partner organizations. Acting as a strategic ally to cross-functional teams including procurement, planning, operations, and engineering, you will empower data-informed decision-making, support tactical coordination, and contribute to constructing a resilient, volume-driven rack forecast for our OCI business.
Your role will involve providing financial support to various business sectors through in-depth analysis, budgeting, planning, and forecasting, enhancing decision-making and future business strategies.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze and project demand plan volumes for critical server racks, including GPU, compute, and storage configurations, while identifying trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive financial models for server demand planning, ensuring alignment with business objectives and the OCI Long Range Plan for revenue growth.
- Collaborate with demand planners and capacity teams to gather inputs, validate assumptions, and enhance forecast accuracy for server and network hardware components.
- Conduct scenario analysis to evaluate the financial consequences of supply-demand imbalances, component shortages, and shifts in market demand.
- Partner with teams to set and maintain inventory targets, support just-in-time or safety stock strategies, and minimize premature capital expenditures.
- Prepare and deliver actionable reports, dashboards, and recommendations to leadership, highlighting the financial implications of demand changes and supply chain choices.
- Monitor internal performance metrics (KPIs) and track fluctuations in costs per rack, ACR per rack, attach rates, finished rack inventory, and rack utilization.
- Ensure data integrity and compliance with internal controls, policies, and SOX regulations.
Key Skills and Requirements:
- A minimum of 8 years of relevant finance experience.
- A BS/BA in Accounting or Finance is preferred; a CPA or MBA is a plus.
- Experience in hardware demand forecasting and financial analysis across the supply chain.
- Proven track record as a strategic finance business partner, collaborating effectively with procurement, planning, operations, and engineering teams.
- Demonstrated leadership in large-scale company initiatives.
- Recognized as a leader and top contributor by peers and as a key business partner by management.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and Oracle Financials.
- Excellent analytical and research capabilities.
- Ability to collaborate across departments and functions.
The role is eligible for a range of compensation, depending on experience and qualifications, and includes a comprehensive benefits package.
