Lead FinTech Solutions Architect

Our client is seeking an innovative and experienced Lead FinTech Solutions Architect to drive the design and implementation of cutting-edge financial technology solutions. This is a fully remote position, offering the flexibility to work from anywhere. You will be instrumental in shaping the future of our client's digital banking and financial services platforms, working closely with development teams, product managers, and stakeholders to deliver robust, scalable, and secure solutions. Your deep understanding of financial systems, cloud architecture, and emerging technologies will be critical.

Responsibilities: Design and architect end-to-end solutions for digital banking, payments, lending, and investment platforms. Evaluate and select appropriate technologies and frameworks to meet business requirements and scalability needs. Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure successful implementation of architectural designs. Define technical standards, best practices, and governance for FinTech development. Lead technical discussions and provide architectural guidance to cross-functional teams. Assess existing systems and identify opportunities for modernization and optimization. Develop and maintain architectural documentation, including diagrams, specifications, and roadmaps. Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes in the FinTech space. Ensure solutions are compliant with security standards, data privacy regulations, and financial industry best practices. Mentor junior architects and developers, fostering a culture of technical excellence. Qualifications: Extensive experience in software architecture, with a significant focus on the FinTech industry. Proven track record of designing and delivering complex financial systems (e.g., core banking, payment gateways, trading platforms). Deep knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and microservices architecture. Proficiency in various programming languages and database technologies. Strong understanding of financial regulations, compliance requirements (e.g., KYC, AML), and security best practices. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Experience with agile development methodologies. Demonstrated leadership abilities and experience managing technical teams in a remote setting.
