Lead Front End Developer

About the Role

We are seeking an accomplished Lead Front End Developer to join our dynamic team. This individual will be instrumental in enhancing our front-end design and development processes, utilizing their extensive knowledge to improve user experience and engagement.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough analyses to support process improvements and define requirements.
• Create technical design drawings, mockups, wireframes, and other documentation for stakeholder review.
• Plan and implement modifications to Graphic User Interfaces (GUIs) while optimizing system navigation and usability.
• Lead the development of user-facing features, ensuring high-quality UI/UX standards.
• Prepare and document systems tests to verify operability and compliance with project standards.
• Engage in agile, user-centric application design by considering multiple user personas.
• Utilize UX design tools (e.g., Sketch, InVision) effectively.
• Manage and lead software development projects while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Minimum Qualifications

• Active Secret security clearance.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field; Master's degree may substitute for 2 years of experience.
• At least 10 years of software development experience with expertise in object-oriented and scripted languages.
• A minimum of 5 years' experience in front-end web design and development.
• Experience with bug tracking software (e.g., Jira) and testing web-based applications.
• Proficient in developing within a cloud environment and implementing Agile practices.

Preferred Qualifications

• SAFe SA certification.
• Experience with Agile Test Driven Development.
• Integrating into DoD DevSecOps environments.

Compensation

The annual salary range for this position is between $120,000.00 and $150,000.00, depending on experience and qualifications.
