LEAD FRONT-END ENGINEER

We are looking for a hands‑on Lead Front-End Engineer who is passionate about clean code, performance optimisation, and crafting seamless user experiences. This is a senior-level individual contributor role where your technical depth matters more than team management. You won't just manage a backlog, you will write complex business logic, influence architectural direction, and set the benchmark for front-end engineering excellence within the team. If you thrive on solving challenging UI problems and building scalable, future‑proof front-end systems, this opportunity is for you.

Requirements

• Deep expertise in React.js (lifecycles, hooks, state management)
• Strong proficiency in ES6+ and TypeScript
• Experience with modern styling approaches (Styled Components, Tailwind, SASS, CSS)
• Solid experience with front-end testing frameworks
• Hands‑on experience with Jest, React Testing Library, and Cypress.
• Ability to architect robust, scalable, and decoupled solutions from feature requirements

Compensation & Location

• Fully remote
• Cost to company salary of up to R1.2 m per annum depending on experience and ability
