Your Impact

In the Jobs Experience team, we manage the entire journey of job content on our platform, from onboarding new employers to showcasing job postings effectively. As a Lead Front End Software Engineer, you will play a critical role in shaping solutions that connect job seekers with their ideal opportunities while instilling confidence in employers about choosing us to hire.

Your Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and ongoing development of shared technologies and frameworks utilized across various teams.
  • Offer architectural guidance and technical leadership on complex cross-team initiatives.
  • Explore and advocate for emerging technologies to enhance scalability, efficiency, reliability, and developer productivity.
  • Maintain a balance between technical innovation and operational excellence, considering cost, performance, security, and reliability.
  • Mentor engineers from various disciplines, promoting technical growth and excellence.
  • Collaborate closely with product managers to align technical strategies with business objectives.
  • Effectively communicate complex technical ideas to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 12 years of experience in software engineering, with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering; or 8 years plus a Master’s degree; or 5 years with a PhD.
  • Expert proficiency in React, including thorough understanding of rendering behavior, component architecture, and performance strategies for large applications.
  • Deep expertise in modern frontend architecture, focusing on component design systems, state management, and performance optimization.
  • Experience with frontend observability—improving Core Web Vitals, rendering performance, and monitoring client-side errors.
  • Proven track record in building scalable design system infrastructures that serve multiple product teams.
  • Experience in designing and managing distributed systems, service-oriented architectures, and APIs.
  • A strong sense of ownership and accountability as a technical leader, with the ability to influence team dynamics without direct authority.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in both technical and business settings.
