We Need Your Help to Make a Bigger Difference

Our software stands out in the industry for being the most robust solution available, but we can only maintain that standard through continuous improvement and the adoption of new technology as it becomes available. We are looking for an experienced Lead Full-Stack Developer with focus on the Middle and DB tiers to play a critical role in building, maintaining, and improving EncaptureMD’s core product, and importantly, someone who will take the lead in developing solutions.

Core Responsibilities

Backend Engineering & API Development

• Design and implement backend services in Java (Spring Boot, JakartaEE), Node.js
• Build RESTful APIs, Scalable WebSocket services.
• Extensively work with JPA and MySQL/SQL Server.
• Expert understanding of relational database design and writing queries.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Collaborate with cardiologists, clinical engineers, and IT operations teams to translate workflow requirements into robust technical solutions.
• Work with product and compliance teams to ensure imaging and data systems meet regulatory standards.

What We Hope You Bring to the Table

Must Haves

• 5+ years of professional software development experience, with at least 1 year in a lead role
• Expert Java (Spring Boot, JPA/Hibernate, JakartaEE)
• Expert SQL (MySQL, SQL Server)
• Experience with reporting tools like Jasper, PowerBI, QLink
• Intermediate JavaScript/Node.js
• Experience with Vue.js a plus
• Intermediate Python (automation & imaging workflows)
• Some C# experience (.NET Desktop and Services)
• Experience with Docker and containerized deployments
• Experience with agentic coding

Nice to Haves

• DICOM, DICOMweb, WADO-RS
• Knowledge of Healthcare workflows
