Your Role as Lead GenAI Solution Engineer:

• Technical Leadership of AI Projects: You are responsible for the end-to-end architecture and technical implementation of GenAI solutions for the client – from the strategy phase to productive operation.
• Architectural Decisions: You make and are responsible for technical architectural decisions for complex AI systems – Agentic Architectures, RAG Pipelines, LLM Integrations – and represent them to the client.
• Senior-Level Consulting: You are a sparring partner for business departments and management up to C-level. You translate AI possibilities into business value and manage expectations.
• Scoping & Estimation: You define project scope together with the client, estimate effort, and help create proposals.
• Pre-Sales & Business Development: You are actively involved in winning new GenAI projects. You help write proposals, participate in pitches, and contribute your technical expertise to acquisition.
• Mentoring: You develop the engineers in your team specifically – through code reviews, technical sparring, and direct feedback. You don't just manage, you foster.
• Agentic SDLC: You drive the integration of AI agents into your team's development process – AI-assisted coding, automated code reviews, intelligent test generation. You define how Agentic Tools transform the SDLC within the team and for the client.
• Engineering of AI Services: You are hands-on – you develop yourself, review code, and set technical standards for your team.
• Evaluation & Monitoring: You define KPI frameworks for measuring the performance of GenAI solutions and ensure their adherence.

You:

• Proven Track Record in GenAI: You have brought LLM-based systems into production – conceived, consulted on, and built end-to-end.
• Excellent Python Skills (Production-Ready): API development (FastAPI, Pydantic), containerization (Docker), testing, Git, CI/CD.
• Deep Understanding of GenAI Architectures: Agentic Systems, RAG end-to-end, Prompt Engineering, structured outputs, Function-Calling – you can not only make architectural decisions but also justify them to the client.
• Leadership Experience: You have already managed workstreams or small teams – technically and organizationally.
• Consulting Competence: Several years of experience working directly with clients. You can lead workshops, present results at C-level, and navigate stakeholder landscapes.
• Languages: Fluent German, business fluent English.
• Education: Completed degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Data Science, Business Informatics, or equivalent (B.Sc. or higher).
• Willingness to Travel: You are willing to work on-site at the client's location regularly.
