Your role as a Lead GenAI Solution Engineer

• Technical leadership of AI projects: own end-to-end architecture and delivery of GenAI solutions from strategy to production.
• Lead project teams, allocate work, ensure quality, and support team development.
• Define and own technical architecture decisions for complex AI systems including agentic architectures, RAG pipelines, and LLM integrations.
• Act as trusted advisor to business units and senior management up to C-level, translating AI capabilities into business value.
• Collaborate with clients on project scope, effort estimation, and proposal development.
• Support pre-sales and business development through proposal writing, client pitches, and technical expertise.
• Mentor engineers via code reviews, technical sparring, and feedback.
• Drive integration of AI agents into development lifecycle including AI-assisted coding, automated code reviews, and intelligent test generation.
• Remain hands-on developing solutions, reviewing code, and setting technical standards.
• Define KPI frameworks to measure and monitor GenAI solution performance.

Who you are

• Proven track record delivering LLM-based systems into production including design, advisory, and implementation.
• Visible thought leader in GenAI through talks, publications, open-source contributions, or recognized community presence.
• Excellent Python skills with experience in FastAPI, Pydantic, Docker, testing, Git, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Deep understanding of GenAI architectures including agentic systems, RAG pipelines, prompt engineering, structured outputs, and function calling.
• Leadership experience managing workstreams or small teams technically and organizationally.
• Several years consulting experience working directly with clients, facilitating workshops, presenting at C-level, and managing stakeholders.
• Fluent in German (minimum B2) and professional proficiency in English.
• Completed degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Data Science, Information Systems, or comparable field (Bachelor’s or higher).
• Willingness to travel and work regularly on-site at client premises.
