Position: Software Engineer

Type: Contract

Compensation: $180/hour

Location: Remote

Commitment: ~20 hours/week

Role Responsibilities • Improve CI performance, reliability, and observability to enhance infrastructure velocity. • Build runner autoscaling and system hardening for scalable systems. • Implement alerting and notification systems to increase visibility into CI pipelines. • Enhance CLI usability and discoverability to streamline developer workflows. • Manage and optimize SaaS tools and configurations for efficient procurement and inventory. • Build reusable Pulumi modules and service templates to standardize infrastructure practices.

Qualifications

Must-Have • Strong proficiency in Python. • Experience with backend systems, infrastructure, or developer tooling. • Familiarity with CI/CD systems, CLI tooling, SaaS/IT systems, or Infrastructure-as-Code. • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. • Strong problem-solving and systems thinking.
