Java Developer Lead

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Java Developer Lead to drive the design, development, and delivery of scalable, high-performance applications. This role requires strong technical expertise, leadership capability, and hands-on development experience in enterprise-grade systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end development of Java-based applications and microservices.
• Design robust, scalable, and secure architecture solutions.
• Mentor and guide a team of developers, ensuring best coding practices and standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, QA, and DevOps.
• Perform code reviews and ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Optimize application performance, reliability, and scalability.
• Drive adoption of modern frameworks, tools, and development methodologies.
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide effective solutions.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 8+ years of hands-on experience in Java development.
• Strong expertise in Core Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices architecture.
• Experience with RESTful APIs, Hibernate/JPA, and multithreading.
• Solid understanding of design patterns and system design principles.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) is a plus.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Strong knowledge of databases (SQL/NoSQL).
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Leadership & Soft Skills

• Proven experience in leading and managing development teams.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to drive technical discussions and decision-making.
• Agile/Scrum experience preferred.

Nice to Have

• Experience with distributed systems and event-driven architecture.
• Knowledge of messaging systems like Kafka or RabbitMQ.
• Exposure to frontend technologies is an added advantage.
