Lead Mechanical Design & Calculation Engineer (M/F) – Oil & Gas / EPC

About

As part of the development of major international EPC projects in the Oil & Gas and petrochemical sectors, we are currently looking for a Lead Mechanical Design & Calculation Engineer to strengthen an engineering team specialized in the design of complex industrial equipment.

Main Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical calculations and sizing of welded mechanical equipment
• Participate in the mechanical design and development of industrial equipment
• Review and validate mechanical calculations, drawings, and technical documentation
• Analyze client technical requirements and ensure compliance throughout the project
• Provide technical support to manufacturers and subcontractors
• Support fabrication activities and resolve technical issues
• Supervise engineering studies and coordinate technical interfaces
• Ensure compliance with project quality standards and engineering procedures

Profile

• Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• Minimum 5 years of experience in EPC projects within Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, or Heavy Industry environments
• Strong knowledge in:
  • Strength of Materials
  • Mechanical design and calculations (static, fatigue, seismic)
  • Finite Element Analysis (FEA)
  • Welded and pressure equipment design
• Good understanding of fabrication processes, welding, and NDT activities
• Knowledge of ASME, EN13445, or PD5500 codes is considered a plus
• Professional English level required
