Role Description

AppLab Systems, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Lead Mobile Developer for an on‑site contract role based in New York, NY. In this role, you will design, develop, and optimize mobile applications for iOS platforms to meet client requirements. You will collaborate with cross‑functional teams, oversee code reviews, and ensure robust implementation using object‑oriented programming principles. Additionally, you will identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, write clean, maintainable code, and contribute to software architecture and best practices.

Qualifications

• Proven expertise in Mobile Application Development and delivering high‑quality Mobile Applications
• Proficiency in iOS Development and experience with both native and cross‑platform frameworks
• Strong foundation in Object‑Oriented Programming (OOP) principles
• Demonstrated skills in end‑to‑end Software Development processes, from design to deployment
• Excellent problem‑solving, analytical, and debugging skills
• Ability to collaborate in cross‑functional teams and lead development projects
• Degree: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (preferred)
• Experience using Agile methodologies and tools is a plus
• Knowledge of current trends in mobile technology and user experience is advantageous
• Good verbal and written communication skills
