Your Role
As a Senior Software Development Engineer, you will be at the forefront of transforming financial services technology. You'll have a vital role in designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software applications, collaborating across teams to deliver solutions that meet our business objectives and client expectations.
Your Responsibilities:
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of software applications that support Fiserv's objectives.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into detailed technical specifications.
- Engage in coding, testing, and debugging of applications to ensure peak performance and dependability.
- Maintain and enhance existing codebases while guiding peer review processes.
- Mentor and provide technical direction to junior developers to foster team growth.

Essential Experience:
- 6+ years in software development.
- 3+ years in programming languages such as Java, C, C#, C++, or similar.
- 3+ years experience with SQL databases.
- 3+ years working with cloud services like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- 3+ years working with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- 3+ years familiarity with Agile methodologies.
- 6+ years of a combination of relevant educational background, related experience, and/or military service.
Preferred Experience:
- Experience in the financial services sector.
Salary Information:
The salary range for this position is $110,000.00 - $186,000.00. Please note that these pay ranges apply to employees in New Jersey and New York, and may differ in other states.
