Role

In this role, you will take on technical leadership in .NET development and contribute significantly to the technical direction of complex software solutions. You will be responsible for the design and implementation of modern .NET architectures, ensure high code quality, and drive the introduction of best practices. You will coordinate collaboration with fellow developers, liaise closely with stakeholders, and promote an efficient, transparent development process. You will critically analyze requirements, make sound technical decisions, and keep both scalability and maintainability of the solutions in mind. You will also actively support the continuous improvement of the development environment and purposefully introduce new technologies and ideas.

Responsibilities

• You will develop, adapt, and maintain the control software for the latest generation of label printers under Windows.
• In this role, you will continuously add new features to the existing software and improve its performance.
• You will create concepts and actively participate in the further development of the software architecture.
• As a Lead .NET Software Developer, you will document your code in a structured and comprehensible manner.
• You will take over 3rd-level support for the local service center as well as the sales, support, and test teams in England.
• In this role, you will work closely with international stakeholders and ensure the high quality of the software solutions.

Qualifications

• Completed degree in Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a comparable technical field (BSc or MSc).
• Several years of in-depth practical experience in development with C#/.NET and WPF at a senior level.
• Proficient use of Visual Studio and experience with version control systems like Git.
• Good knowledge of modern C++ development or a clear willingness to acquire this know-how quickly.
• Distinctly analytical, structured way of working combined with a high quality awareness and attention to detail.
• Proactive, self-reliant "Getting-Things-Done" mentality as well as very good German and good English skills, both written and spoken.
