Lead Performance Tester

Job Description

• Minimum 10+ years of strong experience in Performance Testing, with in-depth exposure to industry-standard practices
• Minimum 7+ years of hands-on experience and proficiency with JMeter, which is a mandatory requirement for this role.
• At least 5+ years of experience in a Lead role, demonstrating the ability to guide teams and drive performance testing initiatives.
• Sound end-to-end performance testing expertise as an individual contributor, including test design, scripting, execution, analysis, and reporting.
• Strong knowledge of Performance Engineering concepts, including bottleneck analysis, capacity planning, and tuning recommendations.
• Proven experience in performance monitoring and analysis across different environments.
• Experience in client reviews, requirements gathering, and coordination, especially in onsite engagements.
• Ability to manage and mentor a team, while also handling critical deliverables independently.
• Excellent communication skills, essential for client interactions, report walkthroughs, performance review discussions, and stakeholder management
• Exposure to project management activities, including planning, scheduling, risk management, and status reporting.

• Knowledge of performance metrics: Response time, Throughput, Latency, Error rate, Resource utilization (CPU, memory, I/O)
