Lead Platform & DevOps Engineer

About the Role

You will be part of Inspire Brands' technology hub, the Inspire Brands Hyderabad Support Center, which leads technology innovation and product development for the organization and its portfolio of distinct brands. Your role as a Lead Platform & DevOps Engineer will involve heavy hands‑on work on public cloud platforms, focusing on configuration, implementation, monitoring, and troubleshooting of various platform components. You will be expected to write/review code using tools like Terraform, ensuring reliability, scalability, and resilience of the system. Collaboration with application Engineers and being the first level of escalation to resolve technical blockers will be crucial.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage Azure‑based cloud infrastructure for scalability, performance, and security.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deploy and maintain cloud services and resources.
• Monitor, optimize, and troubleshoot Azure environments for high availability and cost‑effectiveness.
• Develop and maintain GitLab CI/CD / Azure DevOps pipelines for continuous integration and deployment.
• Automate software build, testing, and deployment processes to accelerate software delivery.
• Set up, configure, and manage AKS clusters for container orchestration and management.
• Integrate Cloudflare services for enhanced security, performance, and scalability of web applications.
• Configure and manage DNS, CDN, and DDoS protection solutions using Cloudflare.
• Implement monitoring solutions using tools such as New Relic, Splunk, and Dynatrace.
• Utilize Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform for infrastructure provisioning and automation.
• Mentor and guide junior team members.
• Troubleshoot and triage technical roadblocks for scheduled deliverables.

Qualifications Required

• 4‑year degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Minimum 8+ years experience in designing and managing Azure‑based cloud infrastructure.
• Minimum 5+ years experience in GitLab CI/CD pipelines and version control.
• Proficiency in AKS and containerization technologies.
• Experience with Cloudflare or similar CDN and security services.
• Expert knowledge of monitoring and observability tools like New Relic, Splunk, and Dynatrace.
• Strong problem‑solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Inspire Brands Hyderabad Support Center is disrupting the restaurant industry through digital transformation and operational efficiencies. The center will focus on developing new capabilities in data science, data analytics, eCommerce, automation, cloud computing, and information security to accelerate the company's business strategy. Additionally, the center will host an innovation lab and collaborate with start‑ups to develop solutions for various aspects such as productivity optimization, workforce management, loyalty management, and payments systems.
