What You'll Drive

• Technical Governance: Act as the trusted authority on architecture, ensuring systems remain flexible, scalable, and resilient.
• Platform Evolution: Lead the design of robust functionality, encompassing developer-friendly APIs, intricate domain modeling, and data integrations.
• Strategic Problem Solving: Cross-cutting technical challenges will be identified and solutions will be adopted across the entire engineering organization.
• High-Quality Mentorship: Set the highest standards for collaboration, from technical coaching to providing clear documentation and thorough code reviews.
• Product Collaboration: Partner with Product Managers to turn business goals into exceptional software solutions.

Qualifications & Expertise

• Consistent Senior Leadership: Proven track record in a Senior Staff, Principal, or Architect role.
• Back-End Expertise: Extensive experience with the JVM ecosystem (Java or Kotlin).
• Modern Web & Orchestration: Proficiency in JavaScript frameworks and familiarity with workflow engines.
• Cloud Architecture: Strong experience in architecting on AWS, managing both relational and document-based data stores like Postgres and MongoDB.
• Delivery Excellence: Champion of automated testing and deployment pipelines, with expertise in TDD and CI/CD workflows.
• Complex Domains: Experience in SaaS within regulated environments, with an understanding of data protection and multi-tenant security nuances.
