Lead Principal Satcom/Telecom System Application Engineer

Your Role

Key responsibilities in your new role

• Provide structured technical input to G2M strategies for Satcom and Telecom applications, and support cross-region alignment, while understanding system architectures including redundancy, reliability, and scalability requirements
• Develop and deliver scalable technical collaterals for Satcom and Telecom infrastructure power solutions, and support design-in / design-win activities with system-level proposals and customer engagement
• Understand customer system-level power architectures and sub-system development for Satcom & Telecom systems, and support regional implementations, while collaborating with divisional and regional teams on solution development and deployment
• Organize and support global 3rd-level technical support and escalation handling, and contribute to global system-level training initiatives and technical knowledge sharing
• Consolidate structured feedback on telecom trends (O-RAN, 6G, SATCOM convergence) and application needs to SMD / Division, and support innovation projects/next generation platforms in telecom and satellite communication systems
• Collaborate with global teams to develop and implement technical solutions, and provide technical expertise to support customer engagements and sales activities
• Overall, provide technical leadership and support to drive business growth and success in the Satcom and Telecom markets, while staying up-to-date with industry trends and technologies

Your Profile

Qualifications and skills to help you succeed

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline, with a minimum of 15 years of experience in the semiconductor and/or power electronics industry
• Proven experience in system-level applications, including hardware and/or software integration, with strong knowledge in Multi-phase Buck converter and its key components working theory and mechanism
• Solid knowledge of magnetics design (transformers, inductors), EMC/EMI considerations, and converter design, with experience in system-level modelling, simulation, and concept validation methodologies
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate system requirements into technical solutions, and excellent communication skills to articulate complex technical concepts to diverse stakeholders
• Ability to work effectively in a global, cross-functional environment across divisions, regions, and sales, with self-driven, structured, and able to operate under ambiguity in a fast-evolving environment
• Willingness to travel internationally (up to ~30–40%) to collaborate with global teams and stakeholders
• Overall, a strong technical foundation, business acumen, and interpersonal skills to excel in a dynamic and international work environment
