Lead Product Manager, Software Development

Our client, a fast-growing technology company, is seeking an exceptional Lead Product Manager to drive the strategy and execution of their software product roadmap. This is a fully remote position, ideal for a seasoned product leader who can inspire teams and navigate the complexities of software development from afar. You will be instrumental in defining the vision, strategy, and roadmap for key software products, ensuring they meet market needs and deliver significant business value. Your role will involve close collaboration with engineering, design, marketing, and sales teams to bring innovative solutions to life.

Key Responsibilities: Define and articulate the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for assigned software products. Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and customer interviews to identify user needs and market opportunities. Translate product strategy into detailed requirements, user stories, and product specifications. Prioritize product backlog items based on business value, customer impact, and strategic alignment. Collaborate closely with engineering teams throughout the development lifecycle, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery. Work with UX/UI designers to create intuitive and engaging user experiences. Develop and manage product launch plans, coordinating with marketing, sales, and support teams. Monitor product performance, gather user feedback, and iterate on products to drive continuous improvement. Act as the primary product expert, communicating product vision and strategy to internal and external stakeholders. Mentor and guide junior product managers and contribute to the overall product management discipline. Analyze market trends and identify opportunities for product innovation and differentiation. Manage product lifecycle from ideation through end-of-life. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field; MBA or relevant Master's degree preferred. Minimum of 7 years of experience in product management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role. Proven track record of successfully launching and managing software products in a competitive market. Deep understanding of software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum) and the product development lifecycle. Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills. Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels. Experience with data analysis and using metrics to drive product decisions. Familiarity with various technology stacks and software architecture concepts. Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire cross-functional teams in a remote environment. Experience in user research and usability testing.
