Zoom is on the lookout for a seasoned Lead Product Manager to spearhead the strategy and execution of our innovative AI-native Zoom Whiteboard product. This key role will significantly influence how teams collaborate, brainstorm, and visualize ideas across the Zoom platform. You will be responsible for defining the product vision and roadmap, overseeing features from concept to launch, and leveraging customer and market insights to create impactful whiteboard experiences. Close collaboration with cross-functional partners, customers, and ecosystem partners will be essential to ensure successful builds, launches, and adoptions.
About the Team
The Zoom Whiteboard is integral to Zoom's productivity and collaboration suite, serving as a visual workspace where teams can brainstorm, plan, and develop ideas. As Lead Product Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of visual collaboration. Your efforts will drive innovation in user ideation and teamwork across the platform.
In this role, you will enhance whiteboard workflows with the Zoom platform, AI Companion, and key external partnerships. You will also focus on scaling adoption among priority customer segments. With the support of AI Companion, the team is revolutionizing whiteboards into intelligent workspaces that capture ideas and convert them into actionable steps.
Responsibilities
- Drive the adoption of Zoom Whiteboard among downmarket and online customers through effective go-to-market initiatives, product-led growth strategies, and strategic third-party integrations (including platforms like Microsoft Teams, Slack, and Google Workspace).
- Collaborate with AI Companion and Workflow teams to develop intelligent workflow capabilities that turn whiteboards from static canvases into dynamic, automated workspaces.
- Define and execute the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for Zoom Whiteboard, placing AI-driven experiences at the forefront.
- Lead cross-functional teams—comprising engineering, design, research, data, and marketing—to deliver high-quality, customer-centric product releases.
- Gather and synthesize customer feedback, usage data, market research, and industry intelligence to guide product decisions.
- Enhance adoption, engagement, and retention through data-driven prioritization and experimentation.
- Work with marketing, sales, and customer success teams to ensure successful product launches and clear positioning.
What We're Looking For
- Experience in driving product-led growth and scaling products in downmarket and online sectors; a proven track record with go-to-market strategies, channel partnerships, and mechanisms that encourage viral adoption.
- Experience with integration platforms and marketplace ecosystems; ability to identify and prioritize high-impact integrations that enhance user acquisition and engagement.
- Understanding of agentic AI, workflow automation, and the transformative power of AI in productivity tools, particularly in creating intelligent assistants that anticipate user needs and automate repetitive tasks.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, along with experience in agile development environments.
- 7+ years of product management experience, including 3+ years leading whiteboard, visual collaboration, or design tools; a history of successfully launching and scaling B2B SaaS solutions utilized by professionals on a daily basis.
- Familiarity with digital whiteboard technologies, real-time collaboration platforms, and canvas-based products; experience in AI or automation is a plus.
- Strong understanding of visual collaboration and design workflows, covering brainstorming, diagramming, and creative ideation challenges in the enterprise productivity landscape.
- Ability to utilize data to inform product strategy and decisions.
- Exceptional skills in aligning cross-functional teams, influencing stakeholders, and delivering presentations to senior leadership.
Salary Range or On Target Earnings:
Minimum: $124,000.00
Maximum: $271,200.00
In addition to the base salary and/or OTE, Zoom has a Total Direct Compensation philosophy that incorporates base salary, bonuses, and equity value.
Note: Starting pay will depend on various factors and will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
Zoom has a location-based compensation structure; there may be different salary ranges for candidates in various locations.
