Lead Program Manager, Community Outreach

Our client, a prominent non-profit organization, is seeking a passionate and experienced Lead Program Manager to spearhead their community outreach initiatives in **Yola, Adamawa, NG**. This critical role involves developing, implementing, and overseeing programs designed to positively impact the local community, fostering engagement and driving meaningful change. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in program management, community development, and stakeholder engagement, coupled with a deep commitment to social causes.

Key responsibilities include designing and executing strategic outreach plans, identifying community needs, and developing innovative solutions to address them. You will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with community leaders, local government officials, partner organizations, and beneficiaries. This involves conducting needs assessments, organizing community events, workshops, and awareness campaigns. You will also manage program budgets, track project timelines, and ensure the effective allocation of resources to achieve program objectives. Performance monitoring and evaluation will be crucial, requiring you to collect data, analyze outcomes, and report on program impact to stakeholders and leadership.

The Lead Program Manager will also play a vital role in volunteer recruitment, training, and management, ensuring a dedicated and effective team supports program activities. Fundraising support and grant writing may also be part of your duties, contributing to the sustainable funding of outreach programs. The successful candidate must possess a Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Community Development, Public Administration, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred. A minimum of 7 years of experience in program management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role focused on community engagement or non-profit work, is required. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills are essential for building trust and collaboration within diverse communities. Demonstrated experience in strategic planning, project management, and M&E is a must. Proficiency in local languages is a significant asset.
