NSB Omega is searching for a Lead Project Engineer for our Oil & Gas client in St. John’s, NL.

Qualifications Required

  • 15+ years of related project management experience, with a focus on the delivery of technical aspects, particularly in a marine environment.
  • Understanding of Project Management principles, including resource planning, cash‑flow analysis, earned value progress reporting, and technical support of contract dispute resolution.
  • Experience in supervising technical teams in the delivery of major projects.
  • Experience in effective interface management with service and supply companies in the delivery of large, complex work packages.
  • Ability to create effective technical documents, particularly scopes of work, in support of procurement efforts.
  • Experience in creation and maintenance of Master Document Registers, Master Drawing Registers, Master Equipment Lists, etc.
  • Extensive site experience related to the construction of major infrastructure projects; marine experience is an asset.
  • Proficiency in Risk Management at a work‑package level.
  • Effective support of Project Planners in determining package sequencing, duration, and interdependencies.
  • Eligibility for registration as a Professional Engineer with PEGNL is essential.
