Lead Project Manager – Data Center

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced Lead Project Manager to oversee a high-profile data center project in Manassas, Virginia. This is a critical, client-facing role requiring strong leadership, technical expertise, and the ability to manage all phases of a complex electrical construction project. The ideal candidate will serve as the primary point of contact for the client and represent the company at the highest level.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all aspects of the project lifecycle from planning through completion
• Oversee budgeting, cost control, and financial reporting
• Develop and maintain project schedules, forecasts, and key milestones
• Manage project resources including labor, subcontractors, and materials
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget
• Interpret and work from blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications
• Prepare and review estimates for project work and changes
• Maintain strong client relationships and serve as the face of the company on-site
• Coordinate with internal teams, engineers, and stakeholders to ensure alignment
• Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Project Manager in data center or mission-critical environments
• Strong electrical background required
• Demonstrated ability to read blueprints and perform job estimating
• Extensive experience managing large-scale construction projects
• Exceptional client-facing and communication skills
• Strong leadership and team management abilities
• Proficiency in project management tools and scheduling software
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Background in electrical construction or related field
• Experience working on high-profile or hyperscale data center projects
• OSHA 30, First AID/AED/CPR, Bloodborne Pathogens
• PMP certification or equivalent (preferred but not required)

Work Environment

Experience working on secured or access-controlled job sites

100% on-site presence required in Manassas, VA. Fast-paced, high-visibility project environment.
