Lead Project Manager - Digital Transformation

Our client is seeking a highly experienced and strategic Lead Project Manager to drive critical digital transformation initiatives. This is a fully remote position, offering the flexibility to work from anywhere. You will be instrumental in planning, executing, and finalizing projects according to strict deadlines and within budget. This includes acquiring resources and coordinating the efforts of team members and third-party contractors or consultants to deliver projects according to plan. The Lead Project Manager will also define the project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders. Setting and managing project timelines, milestones, and dependencies is crucial. This role involves managing the project team, providing guidance, motivation, and support to ensure high performance. You will be responsible for risk management, identifying potential issues, and developing mitigation strategies. Communication is key; you will serve as the primary point of contact for project status and updates to all stakeholders, including executive leadership. This includes developing and delivering comprehensive project reports, proposals, presentations, and documentation. You will also oversee the quality of project deliverables and ensure they meet or exceed stakeholder expectations. A deep understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, etc.) is required, along with the ability to adapt them to specific project needs. Experience with project management software and tools is essential for tracking progress and managing resources effectively. This role demands strong leadership qualities, excellent problem-solving abilities, and exceptional negotiation and conflict resolution skills. A proven track record of successfully managing complex, cross-functional projects, particularly in the digital transformation space, is a must. You should be comfortable leading remote teams and fostering a collaborative virtual environment. Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in project management is required.
