Lead Project Manager (Remote)

Our client is seeking an experienced and highly organized Lead Project Manager to oversee a portfolio of complex projects in a fully remote capacity. This senior role is crucial for ensuring the successful delivery of projects on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will be responsible for project planning, execution, monitoring, control, and closure, working closely with diverse, geographically dispersed teams. This position demands exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills, all executed within a remote-first framework.

Key responsibilities include: Leading the planning, execution, and delivery of multiple projects from initiation to closure. Defining project scope, goals, deliverables, and success criteria in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders. Developing detailed project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and budget management. Identifying and mitigating project risks and issues, developing contingency plans as needed. Managing project teams, fostering a collaborative and productive remote work environment. Facilitating effective communication among project team members, stakeholders, and leadership. Monitoring project progress, tracking key performance indicators, and reporting on project status regularly. Ensuring adherence to project management methodologies and best practices. Managing vendor relationships and contract negotiations related to project deliverables. Leading post-project evaluations and capturing lessons learned for future projects. The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and a minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in project management, with at least 3 years in a leadership capacity. PMP or PRINCE2 certification is highly desirable. Proven experience managing large-scale, complex projects is essential. Exceptional leadership, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills are a must for effective remote management. Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Jira, Asana, MS Project) and collaborative tools is required.
