Lead Project Manager - Utility Scale Solar

Overview

An international renewable energy developer is seeking a highly driven Lead Project Manager to take full ownership of utility-scale solar PV projects (20MW-100MW+). This role requires a hands-on leader who drives delivery, manages contractors, and ensures projects are executed to the highest contractual and technical standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Full lifecycle ownership: NTP → COD → handover
• Lead EPC contractors, Owner's Engineers, and consultants
• Drive programme, cost, risk, and quality delivery
• Draft and manage contractual notices, claims, and variations
• Ensure strict compliance with EPC contracts and project documentation
• Manage reporting to internal and external stakeholders
• Lead site presence during critical construction phases

Requirements

• 8-15+ years in renewable energy / infrastructure
• Proven delivery of utility-scale solar (30MW+)
• Strong EPC contract management experience (FIDIC ideal)
• Experience writing contractual correspondence
• Detail-obsessed, proactive, and decisive
• Willing to travel and work site rotations
