Job Description
As a Lead React Frontend Engineer (m/f/d), you will play a key role in our company's digital transformation. Together with a dedicated team, you will be responsible for developing modern web applications, driving technological innovation, and actively shaping our frontend architecture. In addition to technical excellence, a focus of your role will be on coaching and developing junior frontend developers. Your main tasks include:
- Technical Leadership: You will be responsible for the further development of our React-based web platforms and coordinate technical decisions in the frontend area.
- Team Development: You will actively support and coach junior developers in their professional and personal development.
- Architecture Design: You will develop sustainable and scalable solutions – from concept to rollout.
- Code Quality Assurance: You will set standards for clean, maintainable code and further develop our internal Component Library.
- Bringing Designs to Life: In close collaboration with UI/UX designers, you will realize high-quality user experiences.
- Fostering Review Culture: You will establish a constructive code review culture within the team and provide regular technical feedback.
- Keeping an Eye on Technologies: You will actively follow new trends, evaluate their relevance, and bring innovations to the team.
Qualifications
- Education: Completed degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or comparable education.
- Experience: At least 6 years in frontend development, including several years in a leadership or mentoring role.
- Expertise: In-depth experience with React, sound knowledge of modern frontend architectures.
- Agility: Solid experience in agile teams (Scrum/Kanban), ideally also in scaled agile environments.
- Soft Skills: Strong communication skills, leadership mindset, and enjoyment of teamwork.
- Languages: Very good German and English skills.
- Angular: Experience with Angular is advantageous.
- UI/UX: You have a good feel for UX and think in terms of solutions that offer real added value to the user.

For this position, market-compliant compensation is offered, which is based on your specific qualifications and relevant professional experience.
We are legally obliged to state a minimum salary. According to the collective agreement (wood processing industry), the annual gross minimum salary for this position is EUR 49,700.00 on a full-time basis.
