Our client, a leading recruitment consultancy, is seeking an experienced and results-driven Lead Recruiter to join their team in Akure, Ondo, NG. Responsibilities

  • You will be responsible for the full-cycle recruitment process, from sourcing and screening candidates to negotiating offers and ensuring a positive candidate experience.
  • Your primary focus will be on attracting and securing top talent in the IT and software development space, building strong relationships with hiring managers to understand their needs and strategize effective recruitment approaches.
  • You will also be involved in developing and implementing innovative sourcing strategies, utilizing various channels to identify passive and active candidates.
  • Mentoring and guiding junior recruiters, providing training on best practices, and contributing to the overall team's success will be key aspects of this role.

Requirements

  • The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, coupled with at least 5 years of progressive experience in recruitment, with a significant portion focused on technical recruiting.
  • Proven success in sourcing and placing candidates for roles such as software engineers, data scientists, and IT managers is essential.
  • Excellent understanding of various recruitment methodologies, ATS systems, and social sourcing tools is required.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills are paramount for effectively managing a team and building relationships with clients and candidates.
